History of our hotel

Dryvit Profi Ltd. was established in 2005 as a fully Hungarian owned company. Our head office is located in Debrecen. Our work over the past 20 years has established the image of our company and Dryvit Profi as a brand.

Our hotel is located on the site of the Hungarian Rolling Bearing Works, established 70 years ago.

The factory was established as a “major investment of national importance”, the Kassai út plant was fully occupied in 1963, with a bearing and component manufacturing profile.

At its foundation, this company became a symbol of the industrial development of the north-eastern part of our country and of Debrecen.

From the time of the regime change, the German Schaeffler Group continued to operate it under the name FAG Hungary Industrial Ltd.

In 1996 the whole area was privatised.

The design of the hotel, with its retro style, was inspired by the previous use.

The STAY- LOFT Hotel is characterised by warm colours and retro style features, where our guests can feel like in their second home. The ground floor + 2 storey building has 105 single rooms (18 100*200 cm, 87 140*200 cm beds) and 9 double rooms (180*200 cm beds).

Our guests are welcomed in rooms of various sizes, a dining room on the ground floor, cosy common areas on the ground floor and first floor, equipped with television, air conditioning and a well-equipped kitchen.

The hotel has 51 private parking spaces for cars.

Private living space is guaranteed by a kitchen block in each room, private bathroom, television, air conditioning.

Hotel Services and Guest Information

Our hotel is a three-storey building with two guest lifts. On the ground floor there is a reception desk, a lobby, a luggage storage, a dining room, a common area with a kitchen and guest rooms.

On the first floor there is a community space with kitchen, laundry and ironing room, Guest Rooms.

On the second floor there are guest rooms.

24-hour reception service

Our hotel has a 24-hour reception service with staff who speak foreign languages.

You can contact our receptionist at +36 20 216 6913 for any requests or questions. In case of an accident or any other emergency, please inform them immediately!

Upon request, a hotel staff member will bring the guest’s luggage to the room or collect it from the room upon arrival or departure.

At the Reception, umbrellas, sewing kits, shoe polish, toiletries, writing instruments, and notepads are available upon request.

Upon arrival, our staff will escort the guest to their room.

Data Protection

In the course of providing accommodation services, we place great importance on the protection of personal data. The personal data provided through our accommodation management software is always handled in compliance with applicable laws. We ensure its security by taking the necessary technical and organizational measures and establishing the procedures required to comply with the relevant legal regulations.

Our hotel uses and stores our guests’ data solely for contract-related and billing purposes, in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

Bed

Each room is equipped with a bed matching the number of sleeping places, with sizes of 100×200, 140×200, or 180×200 cm, all featuring new mattresses, hygienic bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bedding.

Additional blankets and spare pillows are available upon request.

To ensure comfort while sleeping, the rooms are equipped with blackout curtains, and we offer an alarm service if needed.

Bedding

Upon arrival, guests will find their beds prepared with clean, tucked-in bedding.

Bedding Change

Our housekeeping staff automatically changes the bedding weekly. If requested, bedding change can be skipped or changed daily free of charge. Please contact our housekeeping staff or reception for this service.

Check-in

You can contact us in advance via the provided contact details or through the online booking section on our website, www.stay-loft.hu.

Using our accommodation management software, we record your current personal data and fulfill our legal obligations.

After check-in, we provide a brief introduction to using our hotel services and give you your personal key card for the room.

Security Service

Our hotel has a Concierge Service available on weekdays from 19:00 to 07:00, and 24/7 on weekends and holidays.

COVID-19

It is our priority to protect the health of our guests, and we are doing everything necessary to maintain safety.

To ensure hygienic conditions, common areas and rooms are cleaned daily between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. To eliminate viruses and pathogens, we kindly ask that you use the hand sanitizers located next to the reception upon entering.

Luggage storage

We offer free luggage storage and safekeeping on the ground floor next to the Reception, in a locked, separate, supervised room.

A safe is available in the rooms for guest use.

The hotel does not bear liability for loss of items or values left in the rooms.

Smoking

According to the amendment of the Act XLII of 1999 on the protection of non-smokers, smoking in indoor spaces has been strictly prohibited since April 1, 2012. Our rooms are non-smoking, and we kindly ask guests to refrain from smoking in the rooms and at the entrance. Smoking is only allowed in the designated outdoor terrace area.

Guests will be held liable for any damage caused to the furniture due to smoking.

Please note that there are smoke detectors in the rooms, which will alert the Reception first, and then directly notify the local Fire Department in case of smoke. If the fire alarm is triggered by smoke from cigarettes, a charge of 20,000 HUF will be applied to the room!

Additionally, the guests staying in the affected room will be responsible for reimbursing any costs incurred due to a false alarm, including Fire Department response and other associated expenses.

Electricity

In Hungary, the network voltage is 220 – 240 V / 50 Hz. Our hotel is equipped with type F sockets, which allow for two-way grounding. Upon request, we provide chargers and adapters for various electrical devices (e.g., mobile devices).

There is a free socket in the room, as well as near the bed.

To activate the room’s power supply, please place your room card in the card slot next to the door.

Electrical Devices

The electrical network is designed with the energy consumption of devices installed or provided by the hotel in mind.

Guests are only allowed to use personal hygiene-related electric devices (e.g., electric razors, toothbrushes, hairdryers) and electronic devices such as laptops, phones, cameras, and video cameras. Other devices (e.g., electric heaters) may only be used with prior notice and approval.

If these guidelines are not followed, the guest will be liable for any damage caused by their use. Please contact Reception if you wish to use such devices.

First Aid

A first aid kit is available at the Reception, which provides assistance for quickly treating injuries. Please ask our Housekeeping staff, Security Guard, or Reception staff for assistance. If the issue persists and pain does not subside, please contact the On-call service. For more information, please see the Medical On-call section.

Lost/Found Items

If you have lost something during your stay, please contact our Housekeeping staff, Security Guard, or Reception staff.

We will notify you at the contact details on your personal documents about any items left behind in the room.

All found items are inventoried and stored for 3 months. Within this period, upon request, we can send them to you by mail, with the postage cost reimbursed.

Night Rest

For the comfort of all guests, please refrain from noisy activities after 22:00 to ensure a peaceful environment.

Meals

Meals are available in the rooms, in the dining room on the ground floor and in the canteens in the common areas.

A buffet-style breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the ground-floor dining area.

Beverage offer

Upon arrival, guests will find bottled mineral water in the room’s fridge.

Non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the Reception.

Payment by credit card is accepted.

Bathroom

Our hotel has 114 air-conditioned rooms. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, sink, mirror, shelf, bathroom cabinet, towel rack, hanger, electrical outlet, waste bin, liquid soap/body wash dispenser, shampoo, toothbrush cup, paper cosmetic tissue, 1 towel and bath towel per person, hair dryer, WC, toilet paper, backup toilet paper, and toilet brush holder.

Heating / Cooling

The hotel operates with central heating. Rooms are equipped with heating and cooling air conditioning units. The system works efficiently with closed windows and doors, and the desired temperature can be set on the control panel on the wall. The recommended heating/cooling temperature range is 22-24°C. This range ensures a comfortable feeling.

To ensure the safety of our guests, there is a permanent camera surveillance system in the public areas, corridors, car park and external street frontages of our building.

Maintenance

Please let our staff know if any equipment in your room is not working or needs repair!

Damage

The Guest is obliged to report any damage immediately to the Reception and to provide the hotel with all the necessary information to clarify the circumstances of the damage or to take any legal or criminal action.

Causing damage

During your stay, you are responsible for any negligent or intentional damage or misuse of the room or the hotel premises. In this case, the hotel is entitled to charge you for the costs of repair or replacement.

If you do not wish to be disturbed, please use the “Please do not disturb!” Please do not disturb the guests. Please hang the sign on the door handle.

Check-out

Please leave the hotel by 10 am on the day of departure.

Please hand in your key card at the Reception and settle your bill.

Common areas

For a communal yet comfortable stay, there is a guest lounge at the entrance, a cosy communal area upstairs and on the first floor with TV, air conditioning and a terrace. The common areas are free of charge for guests.

Community kitchen

A communal kitchen is located on the ground floor and on the first floor. The kitchens are fully equipped with a kitchenette, a combined fridge-freezer, a four-zone hob, 1 basin sink, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, built-in extractor hood, cutlery, dining tables and chairs.

Key card

Our hotel operates an electronic access system. The key card controls the lock mechanism on your room’s door and also provides power to the room. The door can only be opened with the key card: insert the card into the slot on the top of the lock and pull it out slowly. A green light will flash for a few seconds, signaling that the door can be opened. If you are in your room, please place the card in the card holder next to the door (the “Room Guard”), which ensures the electrical power supply to the room.

Please remember to always take your card with you when leaving the room!

We kindly ask all guests to take care of their key cards. In case of malfunction or loss, please report it immediately to the Reception. Our staff will provide a new card free of charge. In case of damage, malfunction, or loss, a charge of 5,000 HUF will apply for issuing a third key card.

Key Card Holder/Room Guard

The key card holder is located next to the room door. Please place your card in the slot to ensure that your room’s power supply is activated. The presence of electricity is indicated by a green light on the card holder.

Escape Route

In case of a fire alarm, please leave the building immediately! Carefully review the escape route map displayed on your room door and locate the emergency exits. Green-lit signs along the corridor indicate the shortest path to the emergency exits.

Please follow the instructions of our staff during any evacuation procedure.

Laundry/Ironing

We offer laundry, washing, and ironing services for our guests.

On the first floor, a communal laundry-ironing room is available, equipped with a front-loading washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board.

Laundry placed in the provided washing bag will be picked up by our housekeeping team and returned clean and ironed to your room the following day.

If you encounter any technical problems in your room or on the premises, please report them to our Housekeeping team, Security personnel, or Reception staff.

Windows and Doors

Our hotel features soundproof windows.

Please keep your room’s windows and doors closed at all times. When you leave, please ensure that the windows and doors are securely closed.

Complaints

If you have any complaints or comments, please contact our Reception staff during your stay. You can complain about the services provided by our accommodation during your stay until the time of departure. We are committed to dealing with any complaint (on the record) made during this period, either verbally or in writing.

The Guest’s right to lodge a complaint ceases after his/her departure from the accommodation. No claim for compensation may be made after departure from the accommodation.

Parking

Guests can park free of charge in the car park directly in front of the property, in our partially camera-monitored car park. When parking, please make the best use of the parking spaces.

The hotel does not bear liability for loss of or damage to mechanical vehicles located on the premises of the car park, as well as does not incur liability for loss of or damage to items, values left in the vehicles.

Selective Waste Collection

Our hotel is committed to promoting an environmentally conscious and more sustainable lifestyle. To help with recycling, energy conservation, and reducing soil and air pollution, we kindly ask you to use the selective waste bins provided in the common areas on each floor. Please place your paper, plastic (PET and foil), beverage cartons, and aluminum can waste in the designated bins.

Rooms

Our hotel offers 114 individually controlled rooms (including 9 double rooms) equipped with air conditioning, providing a total of 123 bed spaces for our guests.

Rooms are furnished with beds (100×200 cm, 140×200 cm, and 180×200 cm), a chair, a desk, a wardrobe, a smart TV (with international channels and up-to-date news), a nightstand/storage, reading light, clothes hangers, a wastebasket, a full-length mirror, and blackout curtains.

Each room has a separate, fully equipped kitchenette with a kitchen unit, built-in fridge, single zone electric hob, single bowl sink, microwave, cutlery.

Each room has a private bathroom with a toilet.

Please ensure that your room door is always closed, and check that it locks when you leave. Also, please close the windows when leaving your room.

Cleaning

Cleaning of common areas and rooms is done every day between 8:00 and 16:00.

If you prefer not to have your room cleaned on a specific day, please use the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door handle or inform our Housekeepers or Reception staff.

If you require extra cleaning outside of the regular schedule, please notify our Housekeepers or Reception staff. Extra cleaning is free of charge, but if furniture, carpets, textiles, or curtains in the room become soiled in a way that normal cleaning cannot resolve, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.

Bed linen is changed weekly. If you require daily linen change, please contact our Housekeepers or Reception staff.

Hand and bath towels are also changed weekly. If you need a more frequent change, please let our Housekeepers or Reception staff know.

Blanket and Pillow

Extra blankets and pillows are available upon request. Please contact our Housekeepers, Security Guard, or Reception staff for assistance.

Telephone

A phone for guest use is available at the Reception. Please ask our staff if you need to use it.

Television

Our rooms are equipped with modern LCD televisions. The televisions offer pre-programmed channels, which are free of charge. The channel list can be found in the provided information sheet.

Thermostat

The heating and cooling system in each apartment can be adjusted individually.

The modes that can be set on the remote control depend on the central system settings. Some functions are disabled by the central system. When pressing certain buttons, a symbol indicating a mode restriction will blink on the display.

Toiletries

The dispensers located at the washbasin and shower in the bathrooms contain products that can be used as soap, shower gel, and shampoo.

Towels

For the comfort of our guests, we provide 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 bath mat per person in the bathroom. If you require additional hand towels or bath towels, please contact our Housekeeping team or our Reception staff, who will provide them free of charge.

Our staff will check the room upon your departure. The accommodation is entitled to charge the guest for any missing towels from the room after departure.

Fire Safety

To prevent fire hazards, the use of personal electrical appliances (e.g., coffee makers, immersion heaters, irons, etc.) is not allowed in the rooms (except for devices related to personal hygiene).

It is prohibited to store flammable or explosive materials in the guest rooms.

The building is equipped with fire detection systems and fire extinguishers, clearly marked for visibility. The rooms also have smoke detectors. In case of fire, guests will be alerted by a siren. In such cases, please exit the building following the evacuation routes posted in your room. Please review the emergency exit locations on the map posted on your door. Green illuminated signs along the corridor will indicate the shortest route to the emergency exits.

If you detect a fire, please report it to our Housekeeping staff, Security personnel, or Reception staff. In case of a false alarm, our staff will inform guests about the false alarm.

Please remember to turn off all electrical devices when leaving the room.

Ironing

We provide an iron and ironing board free of charge for our guests. These are available in the laundry and ironing room.
